Kerry Hall, age 65, of Bethany Beach, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on April 10, 2025, after facing a cancer diagnosis with admirable bravery and strength.
Kerry was born on October 8, 1959, in Washington, D.C., to Burt and Paulette Hall. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 1985 and went on to work as a CPA for Grant Thornton LLP for 31 years, where he rose to become a respected and accomplished partner.
In 1992, Kerry married Miriam, and together they raised three children: Alex (Katie), Dani (Anthony), and Camryn. Kerry was a proud, devoted, and deeply caring husband and father.
After retiring in 2016, Kerry spent the last nine years doing what he loved most—spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, relaxing by the ocean, raising dogs (both his own and service dogs in training), bettering his Middlesex Beach community, passionately cheering for—and frequently cursing at—D.C. and UMD sports teams, and building his and Miriam’s forever home in their favorite place: Bethany Beach.
Kerry will be remembered for his one-of-a-kind sense of humor, sharp wit, calming and steady presence, unwavering loyalty, and profound love he shared for those lucky enough to know him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Kerry’s memory to one of his favorite charitable organizations:
