Nominating Committee

The nominating committee is responsible for recruiting community members to run for our Board of Directors. Individual members may submit nominations to the committee. There are four (4) Board seats up for election at the End of Summer Season meeting (Saturday of Labor Day weekend). This coming year (Sept 2026), the terms of Barbara Friedman, Alan Lescht, Jim Silbermann and Bob Wood will be expiring. As of July 19, 2026, these community members have indicated they are interested in being elected to two year terms:
Neri Cohen (4 Bridge) / Barbara Friedman (16 Errett) / Alan Lescht (51 Dune)
Jim Silbermann (16 Short) / Bob Wood (31 E. Bayberry)
Members may be nominated from the floor at the meeting, but the reality is that many Community Members cast their ballots electronically or otherwise before the actual meeting. However, if multiple ballots are received from one particular property, the one received the closest to the vote controls.
Anyone else who is interested in running and having their biographical information available to the community should contact the Nominating Committee by 9AM on Monday, August 3.
