Let’s deck the halls of Middlesex!
We’re bringing a little holiday cheer to the neighborhood this year and need your help. We have four areas to decorate: the Guard Shack, Bridge Rd. entrance, the two large Rt. 1 Middlesex signs, and the Pines side street entrance signs.
Meet-Up Details: Saturday, December 6 at 11:00 AM
We’ll gather at the guard shack at 11:00 AM. We’ll have tubs of existing decorations ready to go.
What We Have on Hand:
We have a large wreath for the guard shack, garland, a few large red bows, and the social committee purchased new solar lights for the Pines side. We’ll also supply ladders, tools, and supplies to secure everything safely.
Donations Welcome!
We could use more supplies! If you’re purging old decorations, we’d love to take them off your hands. We need:
- Plug-in white or colored Christmas lights
- More outdoor garland
- Non-glass colored outdoor balls
- Large red bows
- Large outdoor wreaths
- Solar spot lights or outdoor extension cords
All Volunteers Appreciated!
We need all hands on deck! We appreciate experienced ladder climbers for the high spots and those who can help with ground work and ensuring things are mounted straight.
Post-Decorating Celebration:
From 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, join us to celebrate our hard work at the Liddles’ house (5 Addy) for some seasonal warm beverages and treats.
Important Notes:
- Donate by Nov 15th: Drop off any donated decorations under the skirting at 5 Addy or call the Liddles at (703 282-2608) for pick up.
