Re: Saturday, September 19, 2020 Community Meeting
Dear Neighbor:
In July, the MBA Board filled a vacant position on the Board by appointment. A
further review of MBA’s governing documents and in consultation with MBA’s
attorney, this position will stand for election at the MBA Annual Fall Meeting. In
order to accomplish this, the Annual Meeting and Election will be postponed until
Saturday, September 19, 2020.
Because there will now be a fifth Board position available, the Proxy Ballot has
been revised. Enclosed in this mailing is the Revised Proxy/Ballot.
On this Revised Proxy Ballot, the top four (4) vote getters will be elected to two-
year terms. The fifth vote getter will be elected to a one-year term (to complete the vacated term).
Original Proxy Ballots which have been received by CAS will be invalidated. Please
discard any Proxy Ballot you may have received from the original mailing.
We urge you to send in this completed Revised Proxy Ballot to CAS, Attention
Debbie Reed as soon as possible using email to [email protected] or by fax to (410) 524-1680. In your packet is an envelope if you prefer to send in your
completed Proxy/Ballot by US mail.
We apologize for the need to postpone MBA’s Fall Annual Meeting, and we
acknowledge the unusual nature of this issue.
