2018 Community Survey

The below was sent out as an email blast to all community members on 2/21/2018.  If you did not receive the email and would like to be added to the distribution list, please send an email to [email protected] as soon as possible.  Thank you!


Your feedback as a Member of the MBA is vital to the Board of Directors.  The MBA Board has conducted several surveys of the membership over its many years in order to gauge community opinions on a particular topic or to gather knowledge of overall community sentiment on sundry subjects.  While community members frequently make their individual positions known to the Board or membership via email, at the monthly Board of Directors’ Meetings, during the two annual Community Meetings, and/or (this winter’s) Special Meetings of the Members’ Workshops, it remains difficult for the Board to determine whether these are merely opinions of a vocal minority, or are representative of the community as a whole.

The Board has been diligently working over the past quarter to finalize and present this 2018 Community Survey.  For those who complete this questionnaire online, we have selected SurveyMonkey to gain a better understanding of the opinions of all respondents.  An anonymous version of the results will be provided to the community at the May 5, 2018 Community Meeting and also posted beforehand on the website.

The 2018 MBA Community Survey can be completed online at this link.  Please note that it may only be submitted once per property.  If you are, however, the owner of multiple lots, you may submit it once per property.  Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete this questionnaire.

Prefer a paper copy sent to your mailing address as listed in the online directory?  Please let us know as soon as possible by emailing [email protected].

Note: any properties that we have not received responses for by Saturday, March 17, 2018, will be automatically mailed a paper version.  Please also note that the completed paper versions must be mailed to CAS’ office at 8600 Coastal Highway, Suite 200, Ocean City, MD 21842.

We will not be accepting any responses received after Saturday, April 14, 2018.
