Middlesex Beach Updates:
Our community received similar heavy snowfall that the entire Delaware Coast experienced. RPM and I were in contact with each other several times during the storm and we made the decision to plow the streets after the storm ended on Saturday evening. By Sunday all the streets had been plowed but there may be occasional icing at night.
The philosophy that we follow is that we will not incur the cost of plowing when the snowfall is less than four inches or when the temperatures are expected to rebound and be above freezing.
In addition, we have been contacted by Delmarva Power. They will be in our community and they will be clearing trees, shrubs and other plants along their right of way during the next couple of weeks. The easement that was granted to them in 1959 gives them the right to “trim, cut, remove and keep clear and all tree limbs, undergrowth, and other obstructions, including structures of all kinds.”
